I thought the music festival was brillinant, and was particuarly impressed with Hannah, Matt, Peter and Sarah at the end, Hannah was a great singer and they seemed to be liked a proper performing band! Is the Summer Fayre really on a Saturday? Because it never has been before and I keep checking my calender to see if I am wrong. Well done to everyone for their effort to keep Birchwood Fabulous, the bike sheds look awesome!

Ello Ello Ello, I am really excited about going to the US of A and I will miss everyone at school, But instead of rainy cold weather we'll be swapping it for nice hot sunny weather! The reason why we're going over there is cos our sister is getting married and i'm a brides maid carrying her long dress behind and tom is ring barer in his converse trainers! We are leaving on Wednesday (i still cant spell it but i used the spell check) to stay in a london hotel then on thursday morning they take us to the airport! And im really excited!

I was amazed, liked kez, to see the year 6's in my tech lessons. Tech is really fun but also a bit scary because u use these really big machines. We're making acrylic mirrors and its really fun maybe when i'm finished i could bring it into birchwood or get tom to do it for me. I like the new website backround, but i did prefer the old one mrs D.
I was glad to see you in the fish and chip shop mrs d even though it was ages ago. right my hands are getting really tired of typing now so i better go. I'll probably try to get to every event thats after school so i can see everyone.

Kesgrave is great, but when I think of all you guys at Birchwood I realise how much I miss you!! I was surprised to see the yr 6's coming through the Art block when me and my from were having an Art lesson! I said hello and many people remembered my familiar face such as Lauren, Will etc..

The school council was fab this year and they have changed our school into an eco friendly school witch is great. so a masive thankyou to them and of cource Mrs Doman, who runs the school council every year! We just cant wait to be gaurdian angles to the new foundation children.
We really hope everyone is having a great summer holiday this year and we also hope that Mrs Woods .a.k.a.Miss Goldsmith had a fantastic wedding!

Hello to all the Year 6 leavers. Well done for completing a tough year. I was very sad to have left you at Easter but want to remind you how much I enjoyed the two terms we had together. I have really enjoyed popping in to see you from time to time. I thouroghly enjoyed your end of year show and was particularly impressed with Kezia, Morgan and Emelia!! I am sorry I wasn't at the water fight but was really pleased to have signed some shirts on your last day. Good luck at your chosen High School, particularly Sophie and Megan. I know you will all be successful if you follow your dreams and work hard to achieve your goals. I am expecting to see authors, teachers, sportsmen and sportswomen, singers, business hotshots and at least one catwalk model!! Anyway, bye for now and we may well cross paths one day in the future. Thank you for invititing me to see your fantastic summer show 'The Happiest Days of Life'. It was just a fabulous production with all the children in years 5 and 6 performing both individual and as a group. An impressive performance, making me extremely proud to be part of this school community. Well done to all the staff and not least, the children.

Hi year 6,
TODAY WAZ GREAT AT KESGRAVE HIGH! It was really funny cus at the end in science we made this foamy stuff that we named a simpson ..... we also had a optical illusion class and a ict. My form (with the people from our class) was hannah and livvy and we made a new friend called Elenore

I really enjoyed looking round the school at the last Governors meeting. It was great to see all the hardwork you have been doing.

I came 'round your school yesterday afternoon with Mrs Wainer and she said it would be okay to write you all a message. Thanks very much for letting me share some of your time and I hope my popping in and out of classrooms didn't cause too much disruption. I had never been to your school before so it was a great treat for me to see all the displays and the colourful classrooms and your fantastic playground. Enjoy your summer break.

WA big thank-you to the School Council (chaired by Mrs. Doman) who invited me to join their meeting today 22nd May, 2008. This was my second visit to a school council meeting and again I was most impressed with the enthusiasm of all the children and their passion when representing their classmates ideas and opinions. I am sure that the children have and will go on to achieve many good things through the school council. Thank you once again for inviting me and good luck with all the new initiatives.

This is the first time I have looked at this web-site and I must say it is absolutely brilliant!!

I particularly liked looking at the display boards in all the classrooms and they are all so informative, beautifully displayed and if I I was in those classrooms every day it would make me feel great to be surrounded by colour, pattern and such interesting pictures and words. Well done to everyone for creating such terrific work and thank you to some very talented and artistic teaching assistants for such wonderful display techniques!!!
